Public Health Team Member Receives Environmental Health Award
Please join us in congratulating Michele Williams from the St. Croix County Public Health team on receiving the Wisconsin Environmental Health Association (WEHA) Environmental Health Professional of the Year Award!
This award recognizes an individual who has made outstanding contributions to environmental public health and demonstrated exceptional dedication to the profession.
Michele has dedicated her career in Environmental Health to strengthening public health across the western Wisconsin region. She is a founding member of the Western Region Environmental Network (WREN), where she has been a leader in supporting regional standardization and collaboration among environmental health professionals.
Michele has also volunteered many years of service with the Wisconsin Environmental Health Association (WEHA). She has played an integral role in WEHA conferences, supported scholarship fundraising through the silent auction and, most recently, served consecutive terms on the WEHA Board.
Her commitment to collaboration, leadership and environmental public health has made a lasting impact on our region and the profession.
